The association
The association we work for, is called EBI e.V. (initiative for parents and affected people against psyologocal dependence Leipzig e.V.). It sounds complicated and a little bit strange? But it actually isn´t. Strictly speaking it is a place that tackles the problem of sects and cultures.Yes, you read right, a consultation about sects. Surely a few of you will wrinkle up the powdered nose, but we don´t want to keep back why our choice was this association.
Sooner we did a online consultation for “Gothics-Culture e.V., an association that was mainly for youth culture in the gothic scene. But meanwhile this association is resolved. At that occasion we want to thank Christina Arensmann who kept the association alive a very long time with her great engagement. After leaving the association there was no one else who took her part dependably. And so the association petered out.
We, who made the consultation, where suddenly without an association. That is a little bit problematic, because again and again there seem to be people who want to destroy little projects with various lamentations. That was the reason why we had to find a new association. You surely now that these kind of associations are rather seldom.
But then we became an offer from EBI, an association that has a good tenor to the gothic scene. And because of the prejudices weren’t getting less in the last years, we take this combination ( sect consulting and gothic info + consulting project) to uniquely, perhaps even forward-looking.
Who we are
On the one hand we both are in the gothic scene for many years, on the other hand we both have an pedagogic job. So what could be more obvious than spending a part of our free time to a scene, that is so special to us? From our time at Gothics-Cultur e.V. we know, that there are a lot of questions and problems in the gothic scene, where we may offer help.
Who we not are
We are no therapists! We don’t want to analyze or change you. We want to clear up, be there for you, listen to you and perhaps give some tips.
We are no speakers of the scene. We don´t say we know everything about the gothic scene. The informations we give, are based on our personal experiences in the scene, scene research or historic facts.
What we offer
We offer informations about the gothic scene, a low-threshold,(if you want) anonymous and competent consultation and we offer you to listen to all your problems as small as they may be.
